For jackets and insulated trousers, select the filling station by chamber weight. Add feeding and patting equipment where material delivery or distribution needs a separate process.

Start with the finished product. A duvet needs a filling plan for each box, while pillows and toys are often specified by fill weight per piece.

Decide whether the job is separating grades, removing unwanted particles or recovering down from a filled item. Each operation calls for a different starting sample.

Choose the equipment that handles the fabric before cutting. Roll dimensions, stretch and table length are the starting points for comparing spreading and pulling.

Build the air supply around the machines that run at the same time. Compare the required pressure, total flow and point-of-use air quality before selecting a compressor.
Send the material, finished product, target fill weight and daily output. For fabric spreading, include the fabric width and roll weight.
